There will be a heat advisory in effect for Yuma most of this week - generally lasting from 10am each morning until 8 p.m.  Please exercise caution if traveling, and make sure you stay well hydrated.  It is also important to make sure your outdoor pets receive plenty of shade and water - remember that what might be a shady area when you leave in the morning for work, can be in full sun by the afternoon. 

If you're an avid gardnerer or enjoy outside exercise, try and take advantage of the cooler morning and later evening temperatures.
